Are you ready to steer the helm of innovation and drive the success of a global product line? We're seeking a transformational product manager to lead the charge in sculpting the future of our products, to ensure they not only meet the market's needs but also set new benchmarks in excellence.

IN THIS POSITION YOU GET TO:
  • Strategize and Innovate: Spearhead the development of the surge protection and lightning protection product line strategies that harness technology trends, market dynamics, and integrated solutions. Your foresight and planning will pave the way for sustainable growth and differentiation.
  • Champion Product Life Cycle: From concept to launch, you'll lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with Engineering and Sales to bring needs-based innovations to life. Your leadership will ensure our products are perfectly positioned in the market, resonating with customers and outpacing competitors.
  • Drive Financial Success: Work closely with our Finance team to craft strong business cases for new products, using robust financial analysis and sales forecasting. Your strategic acumen will guide pricing, volume, share, and profitability decisions.
  • Engage and Influence: Conduct insightful market research and voice of customer (VOC) initiatives to keep our products at the forefront of market needs and trends. Plus, you'll be the go-to expert, empowering our sales teams with the tools and training they need to succeed.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Partner with our Marketing Communications team to craft compelling narratives around our products, ensuring our value proposition resonates loud and clear across all channels.


YOU HAVE:
  • BS or BA degree required; in Marketing, Engineering, or Business preferred.
  • A seasoned background in product marketing or management, ideally within the industrial, mechanical, or electrical sectors.
  • Hands-on experience working with various customer types (end-users, contractors, engineers/specifiers) and various sales channels (direct, installers, distribution) is preferred
  • Product Management or commercial related product experience in the industrial/mechanical/electrical space is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the surge protection industry and standards is highly preferred.
  • Ability to travel 25%, predominantly domestic
