Must Haves:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Data Center infrastructure systems (AD, Networking, SAN) and 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in cloud architecture including designing, implementing, and managing workloads Azure
• Experience building landing zones
• SME in on prem to cloud infrastructure migration with a mid-sized company
• Experience influencing cloud strategy from an enterprise level
• Technical expertise in Windows O/S, VMWare, Microsoft Azure, SaaS, Hyper-V, PowerShell

Plusses:

• Azure or AWS Certifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to join the team of one of largest Manufacturing customers in Cleveland Ohio. This person will be responsible for architecting global solutions that streamline access and use of cloud resources while consolidating IT infrastructure, automating workloads, and pursuing next-generation innovation. The individual in this role remains hands-on and leads by example. The Cloud Architect will have a firm grasp of data center infrastructure systems, Microsoft Azure, and the implementation of large-scale projects to the cloud. Responsible for collaborating with IT Leadership, Enterprise IT Architects and IT engineering peers, and key business partners in developing the principles and guidelines for the future-state Cloud IT architecture in alignment with the strategic goals of the company. 60 to 70% of your time will be hands-on building landing zones in Azure. This person must have experience executing on strategy from start to competition.
