Overview

We are looking for an Alteryx Tech Lead who can facilitate design, development and deployment of Alteryx workflows and applications on the server side. You will also be responsible for managing the communication and expectations of various stakeholders, including business users, analysts, and developers. You will work closely with the data engineering and analytics teams to design solutions that meet the business needs and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of Alteryx workflows and applications on the server side
  • Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of the Alteryx server environment
  • Manage the Alteryx server administration, configuration, and maintenance
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the Alteryx users and developers
  • Collaborate with the data engineering and analytics teams to understand the data sources, business logic, and reporting requirements
  • Communicate effectively with the stakeholders and manage their expectations and feedback
  • Document the Alteryx workflows and applications and provide training and best practices to the users and developers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems related to the Alteryx server or workflows

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 10+ years of experience in Alteryx development and server administration
  • Strong knowledge of Alteryx tools, functions, macros, and APIs
  • Proficient in SQL and other data manipulation languages
  • Experience in working with various data sources and formats, such as relational databases, flat files, web services, etc.
  • Experience in working with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks
