What You will Do:
- Respond to and resolve customer service requests according to FBL Financial Group, Inc., policies in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner for external customers, departmental staff, and other FBL personnel at all times.
- Write and instruct fitness classes.
- Assist with the development and implementation of incentives, health promotion and other educational programs for the home office and field employees.
- Assist with instruction of CPR/First Aid classes.
- Responsible for maintaining applicable certifications/education according to industry standards.
- Utilize various forms of communication to share health and wellness education and information.
- Provide a safe, enjoyable and encouraging atmosphere by assisting members with wellness equipment and one-on-one consultations.
- Assist in maintenance of inventory of equipment to ensure it is safe and well maintained.
What it takes to join our team:
- College Degree (Exercise Science or Health Related field preferred) or equivalent required.
- Ability to instruct and participate in physical exercise.
- CPR/AED/First Aid Certified within 6 months of employment
- Oral and written communication skills as appropriate to this position.
- Reasonably regular and predictable attendance.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
