Duties

Provide system administration on Windows Servers in a Virtual Environment. Manage, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot web applications in IIS and Apache web servers. Manage all aspects of Microsoft Azure Government cloud primarily Virtual Machines, Virtual Network, Application Gateways, Virtual Private Gateways, and Firewall. Provide support in patching GOTS and COTS applications to include Windows Server systems. Perform security remediation to systems with vulnerabilities based on security scans.

Must be a U.S. Citizen. Some travel may be required. Physical Demands: While some of the work is sedentary, there is a frequent requirement for regular and recurring lifting and carrying of heavy weight (over 50 pounds) and occasional lifting and carrying of heavier material and objects.

Qualifications

GS-12: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of SE equivalent to the GS-11 grade level, as defined below:

Specialized Experience:
Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services. Experience with designing, securing, and supporting mission-critical, high -availability architectures. Proficient Knowledge to install and manage OS, administer users accounts, security, configuration, patch management, updates and configure network connectivity. Knowledge of PowerShell and/or other scripting languages. GS-13: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of SE equivalent to the GS-12 grade level, as defined below:

Specialized Experience: In addition to the above GS 12 SE:
Proficient in system analysis and troubleshooting to analyze, isolate, and document problems/issues, identify risks, and develop options/solutions.

Education

GS-12/13: Education may not be substituted for specialized experience at these grade levels.
