Human Resources Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator will support both Human Resources and business operations functions. The position will be responsible for specific non-game day, game day, special event, and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding support (daytime and evenings) for event colleagues to ensure new hire tasks completion and I9 compliance.
In collaboration with Detroit based HR and Lakeland leadership, develop a Lakeland-specific new hire orientation for new colleagues.
Troubleshoot Workday issues.
Act in a liaison role between colleagues and human resource services.
Administer/support HR department projects and programs as directed and maintain documentation of events.
Follow up on outstanding I-9’s to ensure compliance.
Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to all HR related matters and information.
Assist with event staff scheduling.
Provide support before, during and after games and events as needed.
Complete season specific projects as assigned by supervisor and department heads.
Key Operations Responsibilities:
Front desk reception
Provide game day assistance to Director of Operations
Workday Report generation
Ordering office and venue supplies
Perform administrative duties as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education & experience also considered.
Excellent verbal, written, communication and organizational skills.
Detail oriented, well organized, and self-motivated.
Proven attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and evidence of ability to present data effectively and professionally.
Evidence of highly developed organization and planning skills with the ability to prioritize and manage several concurrent, complex projects or activities.
Demonstrated computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, database, Internet, etc.)
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Previous experience in one or more areas of Human Resources (i.e. recruiting, wellness initiatives, payroll, benefits, and legal compliance, etc.) preferred.
Previous office experience preferred.
Working knowledge of local, state and federal labor laws (i.e. EEO, FMLA, ADA, HIPPA, etc.) preferred.
Working Conditions:
Office & Outdoor Stadium Environment.
Irregular and extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
