Licensed Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Tri-County Human Services. As a key member of our mental health team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality counseling services to children and families in need.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of children referred for mental health evaluations and develop effective treatment plans to address their unique needs.
- Case Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, coordinate additional services as necessary, and ensure seamless communication with other healthcare professionals.
- Group and Individual Counseling: Facilitate group counseling sessions and provide individual counseling to program clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and approaches.
- Family Counseling: Provide family counseling services to program clients, promoting healthy relationships and effective communication.
- Staff Supervision and Support: Provide supervision and coordination of the work of other staff members, as delegated by the Clinical Supervisor/Program Supervisor, and serve as a resource for staff regarding treatment modalities and techniques.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Represent the Agency in matters of petition for involuntary treatment, consult with other professionals regarding addictions and mental health treatment, and provide expert guidance on treatment approaches.
- Education and Experience: Master's Degree in a field related to Human Services, such as Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or a related field, and at least one year of full-time experience in a mental health and/or addictions treatment setting. Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and certification as an Addictions Professional (CAP) may be considered.
- Knowledge and Skills: Extensive knowledge of addictions and mental health treatment, rehabilitation, and therapeutic techniques, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
