Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the strategic direction and vision for UPA International, PPA Tour, and MLP.
  • Lead and manage the team to ensure effective execution of organizational goals.
  • Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Represent UPA International in negotiations, public relations, and high-level decision-making.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, media partners, and international governing bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain the highest standards of governance and integrity.
  • Drive growth and innovation within the sport of pickleball through strategic partnerships and initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of senior leadership experience in sports management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for and knowledge of pickleball and its competitive landscape.
