Weitsman Recycling is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this essential role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, providing crucial administrative support to ensure our office runs smoothly. We're seeking a proactive individual who excels at multitasking and is eager to contribute to our team's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Administrative Support: Perform a range of clerical tasks including filing, data entry, copying, scanning, and faxing. Maintain well-organized records and ensure all paperwork is properly filed and easily accessible.

  • Reception Duties: Be the first point of contact for visitors and callers. Greet guests, answer phone calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments with professionalism and courtesy.

  • Data Entry: Accurately input data into company systems, ensuring records of transactions, customer details, and other essential information are up-to-date.

  • Document Management: Prepare, organize, and maintain documents, reports, and correspondence. Ensure all records are current and easily retrievable when needed.

  • Mail Handling: Sort and distribute incoming mail, manage outgoing mail, and handle shipping and receiving tasks efficiently.

  • Support to Other Departments: Provide administrative assistance across departments, including preparing reports, handling special projects, and supporting team members with various tasks.

  • Customer Service: Respond to basic customer and client inquiries, offering accurate information and ensuring a positive and professional experience.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in an office setting is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
