The VA Medical Center in Milwaukee Wisconsin is a tertiary care facility affiliated with the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). We are seeking a mid-career level, Board Certified Neurologist for the position of Chief of the Neurology Section with a start date of September 2024.

This is a part-time position at the VA (0.5 to 0.625 FTEE) with potential for a full-time joint appointment in conjunction with the VA's academic affiliate. Eligibility for Wisconsin Licensure is, therefore, required. Candidates with Board Certification in Vascular Neurology and a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience are preferred as the VA Medical Center is preparing for certification as a Primary Stroke Center. The Neurology Chief is expected to provide strong leadership within the Hospital's Stroke Committee and on inpatient, as well as outpatient Neurology services. Incumbent will be responsible for the clinical care of patients with neurological diseases and the teaching of medical students, PA students, residents, and fellows. Opportunities exist for mentorship and academic development.
