Procurement Specialist - M&S

 

About the Role 

The incumbent is responsible for the procurement activities and tactical purchases of Marketing & Sales category, as well as other categories of products or services as required from time to time, in the USA & Canada.

 

 

What you will do
  • Support cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Manage activities and collaborate with P2P Competency Center & GBS when appropriate;
  • Develop and implement procurement action plans as per Global/Regional/Cluster strategic directions;
  • Ensure business connectivity and foster collaborative business partnership with stakeholders;
  • Optimize supplier base and manage SRM within scope of operations;
  • Achieve set targets and KPIs, while ensuring alignment and compliance;
  • Role model in compliance and ethics.

 

Who We Are Looking For

dynamic, passionate, and result-oriented person, with:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business or related Finance /Business management / Supply Chain field;

  • Minimum 3 years experience in procurement in similar environment in a multinational company, with 2-3 years specifically but not limited to procurement of Marketing & Sales products and services in the USA. (Marketing agencies; events; digital campaigns; giveaways; branded items; POSM (banners, labels);
  • Good knowledge of business information systems and strong computer skills (MS office & SAP);
  • Good understanding of category management and strategic sourcing process;
  • Good understanding on commercial terms within Supplier contracts. (needs to understand commercial terms);
  • Superior English language skills;
  • Effective Negotiations, communication, interpersonal skills;

  • Comfortable leading and driving commercial negotiations;

  • Capable of reviewing Terms & Conditions.
