Job DescriptionPosition PurposeThe primary focus on the Sr.
Director I&T, Global Functions is to oversee the complete technology agenda on behalf of Finance, HR, Legal and Communications.
To develop a deep understanding of the Global Functions strategies, objectives, priorities, and define and align I&T initiatives and services to ensure the functions are supported effectively.
Is responsible for coordinating the Information and Technology demand across the assigned functions such that a fully understood portfolio of I&T change is manageable.
With focused consideration for technology enablement (outcome driven) and ensure both process and requirements are understood.
Oversee the execution of I&T initiatives impacting the functions.
It is noted that the majority focus will naturally be towards the Finance functions, thus this individual will sit on the FLT as well asl on the TSLT.
With a focus on operational excellence this role will be a critical enabler in overseeing and supporting the technology roadmap supporting the targeted outcomes and will lead that technology agenda.
Is the primary liaison and interface between the Functions leadership team, including ELT members, all I&T Programme and Change teams, Regional IT Leads and TS Service Delivery, ensuring there is a consistent I&T Portfolio of work supporting the functions.
Building an understanding of the Functions' geographically dispersed businesses and regulations and working with the Regional IT Leads advocating global standardization in solutions at an organizational level wherever possible to provide maximum return on investment aligned to the overarching I&T strategy,Acts as advocate for the Functional customer (with a strong focus on customer satisfaction) in development of, and approval for, the prioritised portfolio of I&T needs, at the same time promotes understanding and alignment to both functional and TS goals and objectives at a global level.

Major / Key AccountabilitiesStrategic AlignmentDevelop a deep understanding of the function's strategies, objectives, and priorities, and align I&T initiatives and services to support them effectively.
Identify and prioritize I&T initiatives that will have the greatest impact on the Functions by being responsible for forming the functional input to the I&T Portfolio prioritisation process.
Working closely with the Transformation Office, Digital, CX and Supply Chain Portfolio teams ensure the TS Portfolio priorities are aligned to Business I&T Product (see definition) requirements with a clear focus on Finance.
Work together with the Brambles Office of the CIO (OCIO) to represent the Functions in the Global TS Portfolio prioritisation process.
Adjust the Functional portfolio based on outcomes, collaborate closely with the Global CIO to ensure the functions I&T strategy is aligned with the overall global TS strategy and corporate goals.
Relationship ManagementEstablish and maintain strong relationships with Functional leaders.
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing guidance and expertise on leveraging technology to drive business value and achieve strategic objectives.
Advocate for the Functions needs within Global Business Technology Platforms and influence I&T programme design and decision-making processes.
In alignment with the Regional IT Leads, influence the Functions stakeholder to adopt existing solutions to ensure synergies, maximise the re-use, benefits and value of the Global Business Technology Platforms and ultimately the alignment with the overall global technology strategy (focused on function).
Where it is agreed that regional / local solutions are required, support the Regional IT Leads to ensure these items are included in the Regional portfolio as appropriate.
Monitor Internal Customer Satisfaction within the functions and take actions to address any concerns or gaps in TS delivery services.
Service DeliveryWork closely with, the OCIO, Platform, Cyber, TS Service Management and other Infrastructure teams in Global TS to oversee the delivery of TS services to the functions, ensuring they meet or exceed agreed-upon service levels, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
Oversee TS service performance metrics across the Functions, identify areas for improvement, and work with TS Service Management to implement necessary changes or enhancements to enhance overall service delivery.
Governance and ComplianceAdvocate compliance with I&T Principles, policies, standards, and regulatory requirements within the functions.
Collaborate with the CFO, CIO and stakeholders to establish and enforce governance processes, Technology controls, and risk management practices in line with the Global Operating Model.
Functions I&T Planning and ExecutionLead the development of the Functions I&T plan, taking into consideration business needs, market dynamics, and emerging technology trends.
Drive the execution of functions I&T initiatives, projects, and programs, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
Resource ManagementManage the I&T resources allocated to the delivery of the Functional I&T Project & Programme Portfolio and collaborate with TS teams providing support services.
Collaborate with the CIO and other functions I&T Directors to identify opportunities for resource sharing, synergies, and cost optimization.
Stakeholder Communication and EngagementAct as a primary point of contact for the CFO, Functions stakeholders, providing regular updates on I&T initiatives, performance, and value delivered.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the central Technology Services, the Functions stakeholders, and the Global OCIO.
Innovation and Continuous ImprovementDrive a culture of collaborative service improvement across I&T teams working in the Function while supporting strong value and innovation practices.
Explore and implement emerging technologies and best practices alongside the Global Architecture Community to enhance business processes and outcomes.
Foster a mindset of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback, and implementing initiatives to optimize TS operations and services.
QualificationsEssentialExperience of related roles overseeing technology enablement and adoption / or degree.
Desirable Experience facing off to an ELT or Executive leader.
ExperienceExperience working across large-scale initiatives, bringing different stakeholder groups together to deliver value.
Experience working within a bi-modal delivery environment (i.
e.
both waterfall and agile methodologies).
Experience in diverse multi-cultural, matrix corporate cultures.
Significant previous experience in within an I&T and/or Business Relationship role.

years' experience managing or influencing technical staff and projects.
Proven success in improving the customer experience.
Using information technology in a strategic context to further strategic goals.
