This position is responsible for new and existing product pricing for the Burger King brand, supports the development and execution of BK US pricing strategy, and oversees/ directs performing pricing analysis and providing pricing recommendations, in addition to ad-hoc analyses and projects. This position works cross-functionally with multiple departments to execute pricing strategy decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the development and execution of overall Burger King US pricing & coupons strategy
- Oversee the pricing recommendation process for the Burger King US markets, including market tests and national launches
- Oversee the planning and distribution of national coupons and monitor performance
- Work with vendors to source for competitor data, perform industry benchmarking and presents comprehensive analyses with pricing recommendations for leadership approval
- Manage pricing & coupons data schemas and tables in Snowflake, create and maintain tools including Tableau dashboards and Alteryx workflows.
- Responsible for communicating pricing decisions to the Burger King brand leadership
- Works closely with the Marketing & Finance team to improve profitability while maintaining competitive pricing
- Proactively identifies opportunities to optimize processes
Skills and Experience:
- Strong analytical, organizational and computer skills, including past experience with database management and manipulation (SQL)
- Highly proficient with MS Office applications. Must be an advanced user in Excel with in-depth knowledge of advanced formulas, charting, and pivot tables (and associated formulas)
- Familiarity with SAP, Alteryx, Databricks is an asset
- Entrepreneurial mindset with desire to learn and be challenged
- Self-motivated and a self-starter
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization, including senior executives
- Ability to function independently and effectively in a team environment
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
