Job Summary:
- Assists Clinical Coordinator with overseeing the performance of department staff & volunteers, including the selection, counseling, and evaluation processes.
- Coordinates day-to-day activities within budgetary constraints.
- Demonstrates role-modeling skills as attendant and dispatcher. Actively participates in dispatcher/transporter roles as necessary to promote smooth departmental operations and prevent patient delays.
- Participates in developing/maintaining department program design for continued quality improvement and enhanced department efficiencies.
Educational Requirements/Preferences:
-High School Diploma or GED
-College coursework in healthcare field desirable
-Current CPR Heart saver is required.
-Previous experience as a Patient Transport Attendant is preferred.
Shift: PRN / Casual, Evening Shift, 3p-11:30pm. Must be available to work every other Saturday/Sunday & rotating holidays.
Salary Range: Minimum 21.00 per hour - Maximum 21.00 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
