The Process Excellence Project Manager is a key Bio-Rad role where you can bring value to high priority initiatives and directly impact customer satisfaction, revenue, operating margin, and working capital. You will be the Subject Matter Expert in Process Excellence, acting as a key business partner to Bio-Rad’s global process owners (GPOs) as well as the Business Transformation Project Management Office (PMO).  You will partner with Marketing, Sales, Global Supply Chain, Finance, IT, etc. and will operate with influence in a fully matrixed organizational structure.

 

How You’ll Make An Impact:  

  • Plan, prepare, lead and coach kaizen events in support of GPO or PMO project portfolio.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert to conduct program solving, root cause analysis and coach team members on associated methodologies.
  • Improve business processes in a systematic way, integrating people, process, and systems.
  • Partner with functional subject matter experts to map current state and future state, to develop business process improvement plan, and to ultimately optimize end-to-end value streams.
  • Deliver improvement across a wide range of systems and data platforms (Ex. SalesForce.com, SAP, eWMS, PowerBI).
  • Learn new methods harnessing big data, robotic process automation and AI technologies, and apply to business processes.
  • Lead and comman an audience for an extended period of time in-person, fully remote, or hybrid.
  • Prepare and deliver executive level presentations as well as updates tailored to each level of the organization.
  • Work in both an Agile and Waterfall PM structures across functional groups.

 

What You Bring: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a science, engineering, or business field.
  • 10+ years professional experience.
  • 5+ years working as a certified Lean Practioner and/or Lean Six Sigma professional.
  • 3+ years working in a business process environmentsuch as Sales & Operation Planning, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Market to Order or similar global end-to-end process
  • Exceptional interpersonal savviness, communication, and presentation skills.  Able to perfom with organizational skill, tact, and diplomacy.  Persuade others through process and data.
  • Strong analytical skills including data collection, analysis, and problem-solving within a complex organizational environment.
  • Able to deal with level of uncertainty and shifting priorities.
  • Able to facilitate large and small groups, drive decision-making and solve problems objectively.
  • Able to balance 3 to 5 concurrent initiatives with efficiency and autonomy.
  • Lean Practitioner and/or Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent from a recognized organization.  Black Belt is preferred.
  • Proficiency with online and cloud-based interactive tools (Ex. Miro, Jira, Trello, etc.).
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Experience with Visio or other process mapping software.
  • Experience using and building data reporting tools (Ex. PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Experience using Bid Data mining tools and/or Robotic Process Automation is a plus (Ex. Celonis, UiPath, etc.).
  • Experience with business platforms is a plus (Ex. SFDC, Kinaxis, etc.)
  • Experience with formal Change Management, such as PROSCI, ADKAR is a plus.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $130.200 to $179,100 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
