In this position, you will you will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist (Section Chief), responsible for a full range of logistics management analysis with the National IMAT focused on homeland security incidents.Typical assignments include:

Support steady-state planning and policy efforts related to Homeland Security Domestic Incidents as a Subject Matter Expert on all logistics management matters.
Maintain effective relationships with FEMA and Interagency partners to foster collaboration and enable effective logistics operations.
During deployments, oversee and manage all aspects of logistics operations for the incident, including but not limited to IT services, communications, transportation, facilities, supplies and equipment, and acquisitions.
Overseeing the acquisition, receipt, maintenance, and accountability of all personal and team equipment assigned to the team.
Develop processes and procedures to harmonize and synchronize logistics operations within the unique interagency operating dynamics of Homeland Security Domestic Incidents
