WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

LOCATION: Central Administration Office, 101 South Padre Island Dr. Corpus Christi, TX

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under the general supervision of the Director of Development and Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for aiding in the multiple facets of Human Resources. Responsibilities will include employee relations, recruiting, Onboarding, Orientation,, ADA, Worker’s Compensation, training, policies, reporting, and other related Human Resources duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Maintains a high level of confidentiality on all personnel information

Processes and sets up all new hire appointments, maintains documentation, tracks progress and assigns orientation.

Hosts Policy Council special meetings as needed.

Assists with Annual Open Enrollment and continued education on benefits, including presentations and wellness event planning.

Prepares and Maintains workers compensation forms to stay in compliance as required by law.

Maintains employee tracking charts for ADA and Workers Compensation.

Assists with investigations as instructed by the Director.

Maintains Child Care licensing backgrounds and updates as needed.

Maintains Standard Operational Procedure digital drive.

Prepares reporting to annual reporting documentation for outside governing bodies.

Assists with planning and implementation of Annual Trainings.

Identify, Administer, travel to, and/or participate in personnel recruitment, hiring activities, training, or other events as needed.

Maintain accurate data in the HRIS system and manual filing system; including personnel data; reporting. Responsible for applying forward-looking strategies, practices, and procedures with measurable indicators.

Frequent data entry of performance evaluations, growth plans, Employee Action items, Disciplinary documentation, and other personnel information.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Development and Human Resources and the Chief Executive Officer that benefits the Agency.
