Position Summary

The Outside Sales Representative will have the knowledge and skills required to sell blasting products and services offered by the company. This position is required to be a technically oriented, organized, highly motivated individual with strong communication skills. This role is responsible for selling a complete line of quality Hand Blast Cabinets, Media Blast Cabinets, Bead Blasting

Cabinets, Shot Blasting Cabinets, Reclaimers & Dust Collectors at very competitive prices. Our blast cabinets are compatible for a large range of applications using glass bead, aluminum oxide, plastic media, and more. The Outside Sales Representative will have the ability to develop relationships with key decision makers and end users. As well as making sales & technical presentations as needed.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
  • Schedule appointments with potential and existing customers within territory.
  • Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs.
  • Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise post-sale.
  • Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
  • Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems using CRM tool.
  • Provide periodic territory sales forecasts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize customer inquiries and requests.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience

  • High School / GED
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business is a plus
  • At least five years of related experience required.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Excellent Communication Skills

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods of driving.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to travel.
