Overview

Our dynamic and evolving company is looking to fill the role of a benefits & wellness program manager, reporting to the Dir, Employee Benefits. In this role you will be responsible for managing the activities of the benefits COE to support and enhance the employee experience while ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.

Responsibilities

Manage the annual open enrollment process including but not restricted to, project planning, drafting participant communications, defining benefit system requirements and testing.Manage the annual compliance activities for all programs, including but not limited to, 401k plan audit, health compliance reporting, and any state mandated reporting requirements.Ensure compliance in assigned areas of responsibility with Federal, State, and local laws, regulatory agency requirements (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, CMS).Collaborate the with DE&I COE on wellness/wellbeing initiatives which enhance the employee experience and meet the strategic goals of the organization.Manage our suite of benefit vendors to ensure we receive superior client support and issues are resolved in a timely manner.Define, develop and articulate messaging for on-going employee communications on all benefits which enhance the employee experience.Lead and/or assist with benefits team projects which may include implementation & redesign of plans; development of employee communications; assistance with the evaluation, planning & administration of all the company's benefit plans and programs.Provide system-wide analytical and project support for evaluating and reporting on benefit initiatives and outcomes.Ensure the timely completion of written reports, presentations and other materials in a manner that contributes to quality decision making, sound strategic planning, and appropriate accountability.Serve as a subject matter expert in benefits and stay informed of marketplace trends and the laws and regulations governing all programs.Escalation point of contact for employees and management on all health and welfare, retirement and work-life programs.Other projects and duties as assigned or organizational needs change.
Qualifications

A Bachelor of Arts or Science degree preferred or equivalent experience is required7+ years of progressive benefits experienceAbility to use independent judgment and decision making that is consistent with company standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.Familiarity with benefits administration, payroll and HRIS systems is essential.Strong capabilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.An effective and confident listener and communicator, comfortable in a variety of situations with junior through to senior roles.Willingness to work across time zones with colleagues throughout the company.Highly organized and ability to manage multiple assignments with competing priorities.Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
