Collaborating closely with our Cybersecurity Director, you'll champion the onboarding process for mergers and acquisitions, fostering a culture of security excellence throughout the organization. Additionally, you'll partner with business unit stakeholders on managing and mitigating risk, driving initiatives that leverage data to generate insights on quantifying business risk and providing risk mitigation recommendations. Join us in safeguarding the future of Mars Snacking and help shape the cybersecurity strategies that will define our success for years to come.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other IT-related technical degree. Relevant Security Certifications such as Security+ certs is a plus  
  • 3+ years of experience working in cyber security or IT.
  • Customer centric demonstrating a strong commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of internal and external customers.
  • Good communication skills, and the ability to explain security best practices to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fundamental understanding of security controls for common platforms and devices, including Windows, Linux and network equipment
  • General understanding of computers, networks, operating systems, applications, and the web
  • Experience with deploying Security/Technology services and developing fit for purpose Service model.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and their application in business environments.
  • Familiar with ITIL framework/IT Service Management

What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Support Security Embedded within Business Units & M&A:

  • Participate in the evaluation and deployment of security services and capabilities for exiting business units, initiatives.
  • Support the cyber security Director with M&A onboarding and ongoing security engagements.
  • Drive the development and enhancement of security processes to support business units.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate security findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with business unit security leaders to establish and track security maturity measures.
  • Monitor progress and adoption of security services and best practices across business units.
  • Cyber risk management

  • Partner with stakeholders to develop and enhance cyber risk management practices tailored to business unit needs.
  • Contribute to the identification and assessment of cyber security risks across business processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with business units on ongoing cyber risk assessment and conversion of data into actionable insights.
