Human Resources Generalist

We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human resources principles and practices, as well as experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, including maintaining HR records, preparing reports, and managing the HR calendar
Assist with the recruitment and hiring process, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, and conducting interviewsOnboard new employees, including providing orientation and completing paperwork.Administer employee benefits, including enrolling employees in benefits plans and processing benefit claimsManage employee relations, including investigating complaints, resolving disputes, and conducting disciplinaryactionsProvide training and development opportunities for employeesServe as a resource for employees on HR-related mattersCollect and review employee timesheets and other payroll informationCalculate wages, deductions, and taxesPrepare and distribute paychecksMaintain accurate payroll recordsAdminister payroll-related benefits, such as 401(k) plans and health insurance.Resolve payroll-related issuesStay up-to-date on changes to payroll laws and regulationsMay be responsible for maintaining the company's employee handbook and other HR-related policies and procedures.May be responsible for providing HR training and development to employees.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related fieldAble to travel around the greater Houston area2+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on administrative support or employee relationsStrong knowledge of HR principles and practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyWant to be considered for this opening immediately?
