At Phoenix Children's, with more than 40 sites of service across Arizona and new hospitals soon to open in Gilbert and Glendale, we’re providing comprehensive, top-quality healthcare from primary and urgent care to highly specialized services for kids who have complex or chronic illnesses.
Our non-profit health system provides world-class inpatient, outpatient, trauma, emergency and urgent care, including offering more than 75 subspecialty fields of pediatric medicine. And, our newly renovated, state-of-the-art Emergency Department at the main campus sees over 90,000 children a year and is the only free-standing. level-one pediatric trauma center in the state.
With this growth we have continued to expand our division, our facilities and our training programs that includes fellowships in both Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Urgent Care.
In addition to full- and part-time Pediatric Emergency Department roles at our main campus in Phoenix, we have Pediatric Emergency Medicine roles at our East Valley and West Valley campuses, as well as primary care at four Phoenix Children’s Pediatrics locations in Mesa, Gilbert, Tempe, and San Tan Valley.
We are also looking to expand our Urgent Care coverage as we currently have five centers staffed 5 pm-midnight Monday through Friday and 10am to 10pm on weekends.
You’ll be responsible for all functions aligned with the mission and vision of Phoenix Children’s while applying skills in a pediatric ED and urgent care setting. This includes responsibility for evaluating and providing evidence-based treatment to pediatric patients under the Medical Director’s supervision.
Qualifications· BC/BE in Pediatrics· Active state license or eligible to obtain· Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
