As a Quality Assurance Engineer II on the Game Analysis Team you will focus on owning a partnership that we share with another gameplay team.  You will own the communication between GAT and the partnership team, and you will be responsible for ensuring that the team is accomplishing all our deliverables for the partner team.  You will work directly with developers to participate in, conduct, and strategically plan coverage of the content you own. You will own the testing of projects in various states of development and create objective results that guide a variety of design decisions. You will be responsible for our understanding of how players will best utilize upcoming content and identifying when a design is being used in a destructive way, preventing players from experiencing that pain. You will work on a team with highly passionate gamers that live and breathe games, theorycrafting, and competing in them.

Responsibilities:

Work with a partner team to define product requirements, quality attributes, and test strategies for gameplay content.Regularly report on process efficacy and qualityEnsure quality milestones and priorities are captured in our work systemDrive improvements to quality process on both teamsDetermines resources and timeline needs for partnershipEmbeds in partner team dev cycle to add bi-directional contextOwn the testing of large scope projects such as champions, items, or runes.

Required Qualifications:

Ranked D4+ in Solo/Duo queueUnderstanding of QA best practicesDemonstrably strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal)Demonstrably strong critical thinking and problem solving skillsExperience improving quality for a team, project or other multi-discipline effortAt least 3 years of experience professionally analyzing gameplay
