The Bartender is responsible for preparing food and drink orders serving beverages and meals to patrons as regulated by state and federal age requirements and coordinating lounge/bar activities. The Bartender ensures that all guests have a high quality bar experience through a combination of impeccable service skills and keen knowledge of craft cocktails and spirits.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Responsible for setting up workstations within bar and breaking down all stations at end of shift. Produces kitchen made items including syrups, cut fruit, and house-made mixers.      Completes closing checklists.

2. Responsible for inventory and stocking of all wine, liquor and beer. Maintains an inventory of glassware and promptly communicates any shortages to management.

3. Actively develops new drink recipes.

4. Performs other duties as assigned to support efficient operation of Department.

Requirements

*Must possess a minimum of five (3) years of experience as a bartender, with a minimum of two (2) years of experience within a fine dining/ upscale food and beverage environment.

*Must possess a desire to exceed guest expectations.

*Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to coworkers and guests; basic mathematical skills are also required.

*Must obtain and maintain a current Food Handler’s Card with9in 90 days of employment.

*Must obtain and maintain RBS/T.I.P.S Certification.
