Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated part-time PM Bartender to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, interacting with guests, taking orders, and serving snacks and drinks as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess guests' preferences and needs, providing personalized recommendations for beverages.
  • Skillfully mix ingredients to craft cocktails and other beverages according to guests' preferences and standard recipes.
  • Maintain the bar inventory by restocking and replenishing supplies as needed, ensuring availability of ingredients and garnishes.
  • Foster an atmosphere of excellent guest service, attending to guests promptly and courteously to enhance their experience.
  • Ensure adherence to all departmental policies, procedures, and standards, including those related to safety and sanitation.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after service, including arranging barware and cleaning equipment.
  • Collaborate with other staff members, such as servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, processing payments and providing guests with receipts as needed.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption, identifying and addressing any signs of intoxication responsibly and in accordance with legal regulations.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions about the menu and providing recommendations.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, including clearing tables and assisting with overall cleanliness as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of bartending techniques and best practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Positive attitude with excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of keeping the bar area tidy, well-stocked, and efficiently managed.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Possession of ServSafe certification and TIPS training preferred, demonstrating a commitment to safety and responsible alcohol service.
