Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Sales Operations to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be a key resource for our Sales Team, focused on developing go-to-market, vertical playbooks and driving sales process consistency. This role collaborates with sales leaders and marketing to build and implement processes, tools and systems that accelerate business development & customer retention. The Vice President of Sales Operations will spend significant time in the field, engaged with the sales teams and customers, focused on continuous improvement. This position requires 30-40% travel across the U.S. & Canada.
Salary + Bonus: Base up to $150K with an OTE of $225K.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies and processes that drive consistent, profitable growth across our North American branch network with Enterprise, Regional and local customers.
- Develop & implement vertical market value propositions that improve customer safety, security and productivity through BearComs voice, security and data solutions.
- Provide hands-on coaching and training to sales leaders to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
- Analyze sales data and operational metrics to identify trends, forecast needs, and drive strategic initiatives.
- Develop & implement strategy to optimize Vendor resources and tools to maximize customer wallet share penetration and loyalty.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (BA or BS) in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field required. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience managing sales operations across multiple branches and states, ideally with oversight of locations in 10 or more states.
- Demonstrated success in managing revenues exceeding $50 million and leading sales teams of more than 30 representatives
- Experience coaching leaders to be successful on dotted line reporting relationship
- Strong track record of driving sales performance, implementing effective strategies, and achieving business objectives in a distributed branch business environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Willingness to travel as required
