Our equipment is utilized across the globe with over 4,000 units in service to help marinas handle boats of all sizes.

Job Description

Marine Travelift is excited to be adding a full time 1st shift Low Voltage Electrician.  This position will be responsible for working in a manufacturing setting working on electrical projects related to custom engineered machines including large boat hoists and other lifting equipment for marine and industrial applications.  This position works with engineers and wiring diagrams to assemble and wire the main control panel(s) for the different lines of machines that we manufacture, as well as connect all accessories and components to complete the finished product.

 Job Responsibilities

Terminating and splicing wires Understanding of electrical components and their application Assemble and wire control panels for machines Troubleshooting of wiring problems Provide ongoing feedback with engineering during machine builds Produce consistently clean and organized wiring Read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams Follow verbal and written work instructions All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned

 Job Qualifications

Electrical knowledge, skills and related work experience in a manufacturing shop environment is required Low voltage DC wiring experience is desired Electrical degree, certification, or license is a plus Able to troubleshoot electrical circuits desired Possess good mechanical skills and abilities Hydraulics experience and knowledge is desired Able to read blueprints and electrical diagrams Able to solder Able to build and repair harnesses Able to work with a team or independently Able to use a computer for accessing documents and communication Dependable with a strong work ethic
