Compensation - $34.19
This position requires a skilled, well-trained, and experienced individual in the electrical field. The role encompasses the installation, servicing, and repair of electrical systems in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Responsibilities include replacing faulty circuit breakers, switches, fuses, and other electrical components. The role demands a solid understanding of electrical theory for troubleshooting and analyzing electrical systems or equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, motors, motor controllers, circuit breakers, and conduit systems. Adherence to blueprints, schematics, and relevant engineering specifications is essential. Proficiency in using various electrician's hand tools and testing instruments is required. The role may also involve installing conduit using threading, cutting, and bending tools, along with other related tasks as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications: AMMO-29 Certification (Electrical Explosive Safety for Naval Facilities)

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must possess at least one of the following:
- Certification from an accredited technical school's Electrical Maintenance level 2 program
- Completion of an approved/certified apprenticeship program with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the industrial electrical sector
- A minimum of two (2) years of verifiable experience as a journey-level Electrician in commercial and industrial electrical maintenance, working with systems of 600 VAC and below.
- Proven ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge and proficiency in using electrical testing instruments.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills using a systematic approach for repairing AC and DC electrical control systems, including motors, motor controls, transformers, switchgear, electrical panels, and related equipment.
- Strong background in control wiring and troubleshooting, along with basic knowledge of electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret NEC Table reproductions in the Ugly's manual regarding wire size and conduit fill requirements.
- Capability to read and interpret electrical designs, report on project status, and complete as-built documentation.
- Ability to work at heights using mechanical lifting devices (e.g., man lifts) up to 300 feet.
- Capability to obtain a license for operating mechanical lifting devices up to and including 132 feet.
- Current CPR certification.
- Must possess and wear hard-toed safety shoes that meet ASTM F standards at all times.
- Valid state driver's license required.
- Possession of standard tools of the trade.
- Successful candidates will undergo a government security investigation and must continuously meet eligibility requirements for access to all relevant areas.
