Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of accessibility features in Android and iOS applications.

Supervise the integration of accessibility standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on accessibility standard methodologies.

Collaborate with multi-functional teams to design and develop accessible user interfaces.

Conduct regular accessibility audits and usability testing to identify and address issues.

Develop and maintain documentation for accessibility guidelines and best practices.

Ensure that all mobile applications meet the highest standards of accessibility and usability.

Work closely with product managers to prioritize accessibility features in the development roadmap.

Analyze user feedback and data to continuously improve accessibility features.

Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in mobile accessibility.

Implement automated testing frameworks to streamline accessibility testing processes.

Qualifications

Possess extensive experience in Android and iOS Accessibility development.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.

Exhibit proficiency in Android and iOS development frameworks.

Have a solid understanding of the Payer domain and its specific requirements.

Showcase excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Display strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Hold a proven track record of delivering accessible mobile applications.

Show commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.

Have experience with automated testing frameworks for accessibility.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $102,000 to $162,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
