Job Summary

Bayone is seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our Pharmacy Integration Services team. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will work closely with product managers, architects, DevOps engineers, and a diverse team of developers to design and implement highly scalable, resilient, and secure solutions using modern cloud-native platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Provide architecture and design for new and enhanced software systems
Hands-on design and development of software components and integrations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all solutions meet security, data governance, legal, risk, and compliance standards
Stay up-to-date on cutting-edge solutions and technologies for HealthIT, Cloud, IoT, mobile, AI/Client, social, Big Data, and Analytics tools

Requirements

4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
12+ years of hands-on programming and application integration experience
Experience delivering secure, scalable, resilient solutions based on Java Spring frameworks and Kubernetes services
Strong understanding of encryption technologies, including communications protocols such as TLS handshakes, session encryption, mutual certificate authentication, and certificate management
Experience implementing healthcare-specific protocols and standards such as HL7, FHIR, NCPDP
Strong understanding of design patterns and best practices
Strong emphasis on Testing, Quality, and Automation
