NCE Soccer is seeking a dedicated coach to join our team We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual that will work closely with our players and manage the Center of Excellence performance environment.Â
Job Responsibilities:
In conjunction with NCE Soccer coaches, technical directors, players, and standards of play:Â
- Support the implementation and management of the NCE Soccerâs Center of Excellence Program
- Assist and support coaches in the general control, management, and conduct of COE players, ensuring adherence to the Code of Conduct
- Aid player development and motivation by providing positive and constructive feedback that is delivered in an appropriate methodÂ
- Demonstrate a willingness to further personal knowledge and development
- Carry out responsibilities in accordance with NCEâs policies and all applicable laws, particularly regarding the safeguarding of youth/minor players
- Emphasize NCE Soccerâs culture of discipline and excellenceÂ
Required Qualifications:Â
- Must possess a USSF C License or foreign equivalent
- Previous experience coaching in an amateur, professional level, or other reputable development team
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive, cross-functional relationships with team
- Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong sense of self-awareness and emotional intelligence
- An understanding of the pressures and commitments required for youth players involved in high level youth soccer (or other elite youth sports development awareness)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when privy to sensitive information
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, performance-driven work environment
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including events that fall on nights and weekends
- Ability to travel in Connecticut to Norwalk, Oakdale, and Hartford
- US Citizens or possess legal rights to work in the USA
Preferred Qualifications:
- USSF B License or foreign equivalentÂ
