Moms In Motion has an opening for a Human Resources Generalist/Benefits Administrator. - Fully Remote - Must Live in Eastern Daylight Time zone.

The Human Resources Generalist - Benefits Administrator is responsible for supporting the HR department and the Moms In Motion team members by coordinating and administering all benefit programs. Is cross-trained and assists with other Human Resource Generalists functions as assigned/needed.

Key responsibilities include:

Processes enrollment of newly eligible team members within each appropriate vendor portal and in the MOMs HRIS.

Processes life status changes.

Manages full cycle benefits open enrollment each year for all eligible employees.

Runs reports each month to determine which employees are newly eligible for medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401K & FSA and assists the employee through the enrollment process.

Maintains constant contact with Accounting to ensure that all deductions are accurately updated each month according to each team members' elections.

Approves and reconciles billing statements in conjunction with Accounting.

Communicates any concerns or issues with outside brokers, vendors, and points of contact as needed for each available benefit program.

Assists Team Members with benefit claim issues and plan changes.

Coordinates and conducts Benefits 101 training for open enrollment

Processes and administers all disability paperwork.

Ensures Team Members understand their coverage. •

Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; obtaining qualified opinions; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

Requirements:

Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.

Associates degree in HR or related field, but experience and/or other training/certification may be substituted.

Two years experience in benefits administration.

SHRM certification preferred.
