At this local and independently owned store, you will get hands-on experience in all areas of the store, and every employee plays a crucial roll in the overall success of the store. An ideal candidate has previous retail experience and is eager to help customers make the perfect purchase by learning about our (fun) products, working with other staff members and being curious about our customers, young and old. Keeping things tidy, organized and restocked is also important.

## Requirements

- 2 years of previous experience in retail sales (2 years of customer service as an alternative)

- Familiarity with Shopify POS, or the willingness and ability to learn the web-based system with training

- Excellent customer service skills and etiquette

- Willingness and ability to gift wrap with training

- Ability to stand for shifts between breaks and climb up and down stairs for restocking inventory from downstairs storage

- Saturday and Holiday (November and December) availability, and a flexible schedule is a must
