Evaluate, assess and perform prescribed clinical procedures and therapy
Analyze and evaluate patient data to determine the appropriate therapy or intervention, and offer recommendations for patient care to the medical staff
Inspect and maintain respiratory care equipment
Provide instruction and in-service education for students, new employees, patients and families
Effectively provide service to the Code Response Team and Rapid Response Team as needed
Record all pertinent patient information and ensure confidentiality Qualifications:
Associate degree in an AMA-approved respiratory therapy program
Registered as a respiratory therapist through the National Board of Respiratory Care
Respiratory Care Practitioner License from the State of Rhode Island
BLS certification
Demonstrated knowledge of respiratory care functions, procedures and equipment
