Enterprise Unified Planning (EUP), part of the Strategy, Data & Analytics organization, leads the company-wide prioritization and planning frameworks enabling consistency with planning objectives, artifacts, and practices in order to deliver on our most critical client and business needs. The purpose of this team is to enable our collective transformation toward a culture of outcome-oriented planning and prioritization. This work informs our annual planning process and ensures alignment with strategic corporate-level goals and objectives. The output of this planning ensures clearly understood work prioritization, standardizing planning best-practices and roadblock resolution.

The EUP team facilitates alignment across the organization by coordinating, communicating, guiding, and ensuring information flow both horizontally between Enterprises and vertically between organizations / teams, as well as all layers of leadership.

To deliver on our common vision, EUP works in partnership with many functional areas, including but not limited to: Portfolio & Product Owners, Business and Technical Leads, the Program and Project Management Office, Enterprise and Application Architecture teams, and key Enterprise leadership, including C-level roles.

What you are good at

The successful candidate will be responsible for and should be comfortable with:

  • Diagnostic Information Gathering - identifying information required to support decisioning, seeking information from appropriate sources and using skillful questioning to draw out less tangible information as needed. Maintain and deliver regular reporting and artifacts, as needed by leadership.
  • Forward Thinking- Anticipating consequences of situations and taking appropriate action to be prepared for possible contingencies. Be willing to identify problems, explore options, and propose changes.
  • Thoroughness: Ensuring that one’s own and other’s work and information are complete and accurate; careful preparation for meetings and presentations; following up with others to ensure that agreements and commitments have been fulfilled.
  • Adaptability: Ability to function effectively when under pressure and maintain self-control in the face of hostility or provocation. Partner with team members, stakeholders, and leaders to implement new improvements or practices, resolve issues, and manage resistance. Maintain a mindset of adjustment and evolution – be ready to plan and continually adjust as needed.
  • Conceptual & Strategic Thinking: Finding effective solutions by taking a holistic, abstract, or theoretical perspective when performing and assessing complex planning work. Quickly identifies the central or underlying issues in a complicated situation and can develop analogies or metaphors to explain a situation in a logical way. Applies a theoretical framework to understand a specific situation, especially when performing strategic analysis.
  • Facilitation and Coordination: Drive improved quality, consistency, transparency, and predictability in planning. Be comfortable communicating with leadership and gaining cross-functional support while navigating organizational structures. Understand delivery through a dual lens of business and technology while keeping a finger on the pulse of strategic direction. Become a trusted advisor and thought leader in planning best practices while driving towards win-win outcomes. Be willing to identify pain points, explore options, and propose changes. Feel comfortable taking strong initiative in ambiguous, hard problems – and enjoy working closely with a high-performing team.
What you have

Requirements:

  • Documneted Experience in delivering professional presentations to both large and small groups
  • Proven ability and experience managing relationships across a variety of organizations and levels of leadership
  • A thorough understanding and appreciation for the Agile values and principles
  • Demonstrated support for innovation and organizational changes needed to improve organization’s effectiveness; supporting and implementing organizational change; helping others to successfully manage organizational change
  • A strong understanding of a product/portfolio-oriented operating model and ‘product thinking’ experience
  • Ability to facilitate sometimes difficult discussions about different approaches and alternative options, and effectively resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Coordination skills across multiple organizations in a large, complex technical enterprise environment
  • Demonstrative capabilities across the MS 365 Office Suite
  • 3-5 years’ experience in at least one of the following:
  • As a Product or Portfolio Owner
  • Working in Strategic Planning
  • As a Relationship Manager in a technical organization

  • Self-starter and independent thinker; ability to identify what needs to be done and executing it before being asked to or required by the situation
  • Solutions-based thinking, effective problem solving, results orientation without compromising quality
  • Attitude of transparency: Desire and ability to bring disclosure and transparency across teams and foster trust between all parties
  • trong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision- making and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills across multiple Enterprises and cross-functional teams
  • SharePoint experience
