Set up : SNF or Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation
Associate's degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
State licensure or registration as a certified occupational therapy assistant.
Occupational Therapy Assistant License (Required)
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides quality care to all residents. Under the direction of a registered Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (“COTA”) helps plan and implement patient treatment, plan, and coordinate patient discharge, and prepare detailed progress reports and appropriate patient documentation.
