From our advanced heart and vascular services, to our comprehensive orthopedics and rehabilitation programs, our robust surgical facility including our Da Vinci robotic surgery and Cyberknife technology, to our comfortable and compassionate women & infants programs - you don't have to travel far for high-quality health care: Reporting to the director/manager and lead technician of noninvasive cardiology, and according to established procedure and upon the request of the physician, performs a variety of electrocardiograms (EKG’s), Holter monitor application, echocardiography tests (i.e., M-Mode, 2D scanning, cardiac Doppler, and color flow mapping), designed to assist the physician in evaluating heart function and/or impairment, monitoring cardiac change and patient progress. Performs a variety of clerical and service duties.
Performs electrocardiography, stress testing, Holter monitor application, echocardiography studies: Obtains pertinent patient information prior to testing. Operates testing equipment. Sets up and calibrates echo equipment to correspond with specified test and desired data/results. Maintains supplies and equipment needed for prompt and efficient performance of testing. Observes patients during testing for signs of cardiac distress. Notifies physicians immediately of any medical emergencies and obtains the necessary medical support equipment and personnel.
