Echo Tech Per Diem PRN Rotating Specialist

Saint Vincent Hospital is seeking a skilled Echo Tech Per Diem PRN Rotating to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and monitor echocardiogram procedures, calculating and documenting accurate values for review and interpretation by physicians.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, managers, and colleagues regarding patient clinical conditions and test results.
- Assist with TEEs and stress testing, providing high-quality images to support physician diagnosis.
- Identify and address problems, implementing appropriate interventions and reporting critical values as needed.
- Set priorities for study completion based on patient acuity, preference, and coordination with nursing and ancillary services.
- Provide EKG and Holter services when Echo workload permits, obtaining high-quality tracings to support physician diagnosis.
- Graduate of an accredited CAAHEP or diagnostic medical sonography school, or at least 6 months of clinical experience.
- Registry eligible and BLS certification.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience and RDMS, RDCS, or RCS certification.
