Duties may include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads and maintaining relationships with existing customers. Outside Sales Representatives may also recommend marketing strategies designed for a target market. Follow-up with customer to resolve differences throughout the sales, build and ship process. Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers. · Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of current and potential customers. · Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analyses. (Most of this should be accomplished by keeping CRM current.) · Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales. · Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic. · Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. · Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; establishing personal networks; Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor. · Consult with Operations Manager and Engineering to resolve questions or misunderstandings. · Work with Engineering to bring new product to market. ·
