We are looking for a friendly, confident, customer-focused, pro-active, organized, and precise individual that enjoys working with our customers If you have experience in providing excellent customer service, working with detailed technical documents, are a team player, and are familiar with agriculture this opportunity is for you Experience processing and servicing insurance documents and a familiarity of crop insurance is preferred, but not required.This Financial Services Specialist, Crop Insurance position processes and services all crop insurance policies within an assigned territory. The successful candidate will serve as a liaison/facilitator in the workflow between the market facing staff, the internal staff, and external resources. This position is classified as Non-Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.This position is open until filled.Department: Marketplace Services Reports To: Services Team Leader - InsuranceSupervises: None Responsibilities/DutiesJob Functions*PercentageJob Functions35%Document ProcessingReceives and tracks documents related to crop insurance policiesReviews documents for accuracy and requests additional information when neededMonitors process to ensure completion and compliance with internal and external requirementsData entry within AIP processing systems including mappingGenerates reports to review accuracy and finalize processing25%Electronic File Management/Customer Relationship Management System (CRM)Scans documents into Document Management ProgramVerifies with CRM reports the proper conversion for each policySets up new contacts and updates contact records as neededResolves discrepancies in CRMPurchases and retires stock through Cornerstone25%Customer ServiceProvides customer service through telephone, email and face to face interactionsCorrelates with agent to schedule customer appointmentsCommunicates with other insurance agents, approved insurance providers, Farm Service Agency staff and lenders to meet customer needs5%Insurance Claims ProcessingEnter customer claims with respective insurance companieCommunicates with insurance representatives and/or adjusters to facilitate accuracy on claims5%Continuing EducationAttends meetings, conferences and training sessions to understand changes to the crop insurance programs, processes and procedures and to attain and maintain a crop insurance license5%Mail ProcessingProcesses incoming and outgoing daily mailGenerates reports for bulk mailingsAssist agent in reviewing reports for accuracy before mailing to customersn/aOther duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization.* Essential Functions for this position consist of all items listed under any category that make up 5% or more of the job duties.
