Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: * Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required. * BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. * Certified Educator specializing in Diabetes Management credentialed from the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators (NCBDE) preferred. Education: * Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. Additional Preferences * Licenses or certification issued by Texas Board of Nursing. * Bachelor Degree in the field of nursing. * Minimum 2 years clinical experience preferred. * 2 years of experience in RDN or RN role * CDCES certified preferred but completed within 2 years of hire * Experience with pattern mgmt [BG logs, CGM reports and insulin adjustments by CDCES] preferred [Not every CDCES has this experience if they do they would list it on their resume]. * Experience with insulin pumps and CGM preferred [same, not all * CDCES has this experience and that would also be listed on their * resumed under skills].
