The Pediatric Diabetes & Endocrinology service at Texas Children's Hospital is a large clinical service with care delivery at multiple sites across the Houston Metropolitan area and Austin. We offer a full array of support services, including social work, nutritional counseling, and a stellar infrastructure to advance health care improvement.

Our presence in Austin helps deliver regional coordination of care and is synergistic to the core services offered at our Texas Medical Center campus in Houston.
Job Summary:
We seek to hire a Pediatric Endocrinologist at the rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor to join the Pediatric Diabetes and Endocrinology Section at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital for our Austin location. Our goal is to expand on our world-class clinical programs and allow children with diabetes and endocrine disorders to live long healthy lives.
We emphasize thoughtful and empowering care of children with diabetes and endocrine disorders. The ideal candidate will have an M.D. degree (or equivalent) and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care, education, quality and safety, research, or administrative areas. Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Endocrinology is required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality clinical care to children with diabetes and endocrine disorders.
- Participate in education and training programs for medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives in the Pediatric Diabetes & Endocrinology service.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to advance health care improvement.
Requirements:
- M.D. degree (or equivalent)
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Endocrinology
- Excellent qualifications in clinical care, education, quality and safety, research, or administrative areas
