As a Registered Nurse, job duties range from but are not limited too:
Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources.
Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Ensures that Western Arizona Regional Medical Center's values are reflected in all aspects of the department's operation. Participation in a rotating call schedule is required.
Participation in a rotating call schedule is required.
May be cross trained and floated to ICU as needed.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Requirements:
License: Active Valid RN License
Schedule: Flexibility to cover shifts
Preferences:
Education: BSN
Experience: 1 year as RN in dialysis
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
