The insights and feedback you share with your team and to cross-functional partners help validate and inform priorities and changes. Location to live: Connecticut What you'll be doing:

  • Achieving sales quotas through the direct sale of our pharmacy portfolio which includes disposables, premix and nutritional products and services
  • Calling on hospital customers with a primary focus on the pharmacy department, mastering effective sales presentations, providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quoting appropriate customer prices
  • Monitoring sales against forecasts, implementing sales strategies to attain sales volume and participating in the determination of market potential for the territory
  • Working closely with customer service and operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Providing customer feedback to immediate supervisor and marketing personnel for the potential development of marketing policy, product and pricing
  • Promoting the Baxter Culture through positive ongoing relationships and activities
What you'll bring:
  • Bachelors Degree with 3+ years experience or 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Previous hospital pharmacy sales experience is a plus
  • Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation and presentation skills
  • Position requires ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies
  • Travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel
  • Demonstrate an eye for business and strong knowledge of sales processes
  • Candidate must live within the Territory

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $60,000 to $132,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for commission.
