For more information, visit EOE Position Information: The Respiratory Therapist in the Respiratory Care Services department encompasses responsibility for administering respiratory care within the scope their scope of practice under a physician's order including but not limited to all types of oxygen therapy aerosol therapy advanced airway management arterial puncture and analysis ECG's and mechanical ventilation of adult/geriatric patients. The Therapist plans implements and evaluates the effectiveness of therapy with communication to the physician and health care team.
