Position Information:

The Respiratory Therapist provides airway management, administration of nebulized medications, secretion management, and application of oxygen therapy within the scope of practice under physician orders. The Therapist plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of therapy, communicating with the physician and healthcare team.



Requirements:
1. Clinical experience in Respiratory Therapy (1 year preferred)
2. Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy (required)
3. Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification (required)
4. NC Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) certification (required)
5. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
6. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification (required within 1 year of hire)

Work Schedule:
7p-7a, every third weekend

Call Requirements:
every third
