We are seeking a Senior Systems Integration and Test Engineer (Senior SI&T Engineer) to join our team in Aurora, Colorado. In this role, the Senior SI&T Engineer works with teams and program management to ensure user or system function properly. This includes a detailed understanding of Vehicle, Space & Communications, end user intelligence needs and how to apply the system in support of intelligence needs. As an Senior SI&T Engineer, you will assist in the documentation and definition of all Test and Integration events. The Senior SI&T Engineer must have a clear understanding of all test related requirements, interfaces, and test results. Work as part of the SI&T Team in an Agile, DevSecOps environment to include:
Integrating software and hardware
Conducting performance analysis, risk analysis, and trade studies
Define and conduct system integration tests, including data generation, configuration settings, and test execution.
Perform within an Agile environment, communicate status to section leads and identify potential risk with recommended solutions.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
Generating test data, configuration settings, and test planning and execution
Experience with systems and requirements in a test environment: requirements analysis, developing associated documentation for integration and verification (plans, procedures, and reports), and supporting integration and verification execution events.
Experience working in Java development
S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance prior to start date. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Systems Engineering experience on a large government program, with preference for ground systems solutions
Experience with Agile and DevOps
Experience with pipeline development and maintenance, and associated tools (such as: Jenkins/bitbucket/gitlab)
Experience with manual testing techniques including writing new procedures from scratch and maintaining/updating legacy test procedures
Experience with test automation including script development, root cause analysis, and resolution using tool suites such as Selenium
Expertise with troubleshooting complex software systems and develop issue closure plans with coordinated solutions across internal teams and external stakeholders.
