Join our New Product Development (NPD) Team as a Staff Systems Integration Engineer and play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and troubleshooting innovative products. Reporting directly to the Manager of NPD Systems/Hardware, this position is ideal for someone who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is eager to make a real impact on patient outcomes while contributing to the development of a premier Hardware/Systems organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance your leadership skills and technical proficiency.
  • Engage in skill-sharing sessions and technical knowledge exchanges.
  • Work with cutting-edge technologies including microfluidics.
  • Design, prototype, implement, and maintain advanced equipment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address and resolve hardware/systems challenges.
  • Contribute to new product development within an obeya framework, ensuring compliance with established processes.
  • Draft technical specifications for interfaces and testing protocols.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 4 years of experience.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively on project teams and resolve complex hardware/systems issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Agile hardware development methodologies.
  • Experience with In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) and/or Life Science instruments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Product Development Processes, Lifecycle Management, and Manufacturing in an FDA-regulated environment.
