Human Resources Benefits Coordinator

Serve as a point of contact for benefits-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate information and resolving insurance claim or process issues with benefit carriers as needed.
Prepare an employee benefits education plan in coordination with Director of HR including creating various benefit education communications, benefit guides, presentations, and coordinating presentations with outside vendors as needed.
Verify monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and maintain statistical data relative to premiums, claims and costs. Resolve administrative and billing problems with the carrier representatives.
Process terminations and loss of benefit status changes via HRIS system.
Coordinate the annual open enrollment process, including new plan implementation, HRIS enrollment preparation, employee enrollment assistance, updating enrollments with carriers, updating benefit guides, and developing employee education and benefit communications.
Reconcile quarterly benefit audits to ensure accuracy and compliance for benefits and 401k enrollments.
Monitor ACA compliance and complete yearly required reporting.
Ensure benefit compliance with all plan documents, relevant regulations, and all required filings. Ensure distribution of required employee notices. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in employee benefits administration preferred. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP and CEBS professional designations preferred. We offer a competitive benefits package to include: Health insurance
