My client who specialize in the Semiconductor equipment manufacturing space are searching for a Hardware Engineering Manager to join their team in Scotts Valley, CA. This will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful design, implementation and optimization of hardware systems to meet the companies goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of electrical & mechanical engineers throughout all stages of hardware development.
  • Work closely with diverse teams, such as software engineers, product managers, and quality assurance experts, to seamlessly integrate hardware components into comprehensive solutions.
  • Lead the hardware development process from inception to final product, encompassing tasks like gathering requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, and validating.
  • Establish and uphold robust protocols and methodologies for hardware design, manufacturing, and testing to ensure the highest standards of quality, reliability, and scalability.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for hardware projects, ensuring they align with broader business goals and project milestones.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering or related fields.
  • 10+ years' experience within hardware engineering.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role.
  • Solid understanding of hardware design principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Project Management experience
